Lancaster Brewery Red Tour

Brewery

Go behind the scenes on a 45 minute brewery tour and learn how we make our award winning craft ales. Relax with pizza, chips and up to four pints of any of our Lancaster ales from behind the bar.

Our Red Tour is available on selected dates and lasts for 45 minutes. *Please note - Each voucher admits one person only. Booking in advance is essential, this can be done directly online https://lancaster-brewery.appointedd.com

Gain an insight into the day-to-day inner workings of the Brewery during our relaxed and informal tours. Covering all the necessities of the brewing process beginning with the malt silo right through the under-back and copper to the racking machine and cold store. Asking as many questions as you please is actively encouraged and we hope you leave having learned something new.

Please note that we are a working Brewery and the tour takes you right into the heart of the brewhouse. There may be some water on the floor, the viewing platforms are reached by stairs and are quite high. Unfortunately there is limited disabled access on the tour. High heels, sandals or flip flops should not be worn. Children are welcome on the tour as long as they are accompanied by a well behaved adult who will look after them throughout.

  • Lancaster Brewery Tour is a must! I’ve now visited the brewery twice within the last six months and would happily go again anytime!

  • Given the Brewery Tour as a gift. The guide was very welcoming on our arrival and during the tour was very enthusiastic about the brewing process. After the tour we had a pie and peas lunch which was very good. After that we were able to sample up to four pints of the excellent beers produced. As a devotee of dark ales the Lancaster Black was the favourite closely followed by Red. We even brought some home to sample later. Would certainly recommend to others.

  • The tour was very insightful, our guide mark was very informative and the pie and pickles were delicious as well as being able to sample their ales. Would absolutely recommend to anyone interested in brewing and the process.
